New Album in the works

We've been hard at work on a new album, set to be recorded this summer and released in the fall. We're doing a series of improv sessions at different studios, then editing and learning the material from the sessions. Here's a clip from our first session, done over the winter in Houston, TX:
Listen - Track 1, Session 1 (mp3)
Stay tuned for more details.
Nuje Drum Lessons
In case you didn't know, Drop Trio's drummer, Nuje, is a full-time drum teacher. Lately he's been moving from the studio to the Internet, and he's posted some drum lesson videos on his website. Check them out
here.
If you (or your kids) would like drum set lessons, contact Nuje at nuje@droptrio.com.
More Info
As always, you can get more regular updates on our
blog (with a
full feed for all you RSS junkies). And we're on
myspace a lot, too. Plus, you can also now check out our photos on
Flickr (send us a friend request). We'll be keeping all this stuff updated while on the tour, so tune in if you're curious what it's like traveling the great open roads of America on a shoestring budget, playing spaceship jazz.
See you soon!
